Terms and Conditions

These terms govern all photography services provided by River Key Photography. By booking a session or event with River Key Photography you agree to these terms.
A session or event date is not confirmed until a signed contract and deposit have been received. Inquiries and consultations do not constitute a booking.
Deposits are non-refundable and are applied toward the total session fee.
Deposit Requirements
Mini Session - $100
| Half Session - $150
| Full Session - $200
| Event — Essential - $200
| Event — Standard - $300
| Event — Full Day - $400
Remaining balance is due on or before the date of the session or event.
Client cancellations:
• Cancelled more than 14 days before session — deposit held, session may be rescheduled once at no charge
• Cancelled within 14 days of session — deposit forfeited, full rebooking fee required to reschedule
• Cancelled within 48 hours of session — full session fee is due
Photographer cancellations:
In the unlikely event River Key Photography must cancel, a full refund of any payments made will be issued and every effort will be made to reschedule at a mutually agreeable time.
Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to severe weather at the discretion of River Key Photography. Light clouds and mild wind are not grounds for rescheduling. If weather becomes a safety concern, sessions will be rescheduled at no charge to the client.
Sessions begin at the scheduled time. Late arrivals reduce session time — the session will end at the originally scheduled time and no refund or discount will be issued for time lost due to client lateness. If a client is more than 20 minutes late without prior notice the session may be forfeited and the deposit retained.
All payments are processed through secure third party payment processors. River Key Photography accepts major credit cards and digital payment methods. All fees are listed in US dollars.
Edited images are delivered via private Pixieset gallery within the following timeframes:
Mini Session - Within 10 business days
Half Session - Within 10 business days
Full Session - Within 14 business days
Event Coverage - Within 14 business days
Rush delivery within 5 business days is available for an additional fee of $150.
Client galleries remain active for 90 days from delivery. River Key Photography is not responsible for images not downloaded before gallery expiration.
River Key Photography exercises full creative discretion in image selection and editing. All delivered images are professionally edited. Specific editing requests should be communicated before the session. Unedited or RAW files are not available for client delivery.
All images created by River Key Photography remain the intellectual property of River Key Photography and retains full copyright of all images.
Clients receive a personal use license for delivered images which permits:
• Printing for personal use
• Sharing on personal social media
• Sending to friends and family
The personal use license does not permit:
• Commercial use of images without written permission
• Sale or transfer of images to third parties
• Removal or alteration of watermarks where present
• Submission of images to contests or publications without written permission
River Key Photography reserves the right to use session images for portfolio, website, and social media purposes. If you prefer your images not be used for promotional purposes please notify River Key Photography in writing before your session and your request will be honored in full.
Separate model releases are required for commercial stock licensing. Personal use licenses granted to clients do not constitute a commercial model release.
For minors — written consent from a parent or legal guardian is required before any session and before any image of a minor is used for promotional purposes.
River Key Photography carries professional liability and will take every precaution to deliver exceptional work. In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, liability is limited to a refund of payments received.
River Key Photography is not liable for:
• Failure to capture specific moments due to event circumstances beyond photographer control
• Image loss due to equipment malfunction beyond reasonable precaution
• Client dissatisfaction based on personal taste when services were delivered as described
River Key Photography is based in El Paso, Texas and available for travel. Travel outside the El Paso area may incur additional fees discussed and agreed upon at inquiry.
International travel availability subject to photographer location.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be resolved in El Paso County, Texas.
River Key Photography reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Updated terms apply to bookings made after the update date. Existing bookings are governed by terms in effect at the time of booking.
